Communication: The bedrock of our client relationships is communication. In order to ensure that our clients will end up with the home that best suits them, we meet with them to discuss their preferences, style, dreams, and requirements. From here we work with clients to develop a responsible budget that they are comfortable with.
Location, Location, Location: If clients do not have property that they will be building on, we work with them to find their ideal piece of land. As locals, we know the Sequim and Port Angeles market inside and out and take clients to visit lots that will meet their vision. Whether you are looking for a water view or a secluded spot among the trees, Anderson Homes can help you find the right lot and introduce to trusted real estate agents to secure it.
Design: Home design begins with dreams and inspiration. Based on client’s vision and needs, we work with them and an architect to design a home that they are excited to have a future in. We then work with clients to help them select the features, from floor type to faucet, so that each home reflects its owner’s personal touch. When people hear the word “custom”, they usually think “expensive”, but when we say “custom” it simply means made for you.
Subcontractors and Products: We are a family-owned business, and our solid reputation in the community means a great deal to us. We go out of our way to honor that outstanding reputation, taking care of issues beyond warranty. When possible, we choose local suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accountability while giving back to our community.
Staying Green: Living and working in a natural environment as stunning and rare as the Olympic Peninsula underscores the importance of building our homes responsibly by employing efficient designs, best building practices and buying environmentally responsible products when possible. Our General Manager, Caleb, is a Legacy LEED AP with the Green Building Council of America. Our homes are energy efficient, featuring energy efficient furnace, light fixtures and bulbs, and water heaters. We want your house to make sense for the land and community, but most of all, you.
Quality Checks: Throughout the building process, Anderson Homes performs quality checks to ensure that the home is being built according to the specifications of the architectural design. We are in touch with our subcontractors daily to ensure each home is built with the meticulous workmanship expected in an Anderson Homes product. We invite clients to visit their home while it is under construction, allowing them to understand the process that goes into the building of a home and giving them the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
